Why we don't have flying cars

All of which have benefited, hmmm, let's see. Rich well-connected Military Industrial Complex firms.

When Democrats spend the public's money, we get dams and bridges, roads, power plants, national parks... employing lots of blue collar workers and providing results that benefit society for eons.

When Republicans spend public money we get wars. Bullets and tanks and missiles. Employing white collar workers (mostly) and benefiting no-one.

Wait. Eisenhower was a Republican, wasn't he?

That was back when most Republicans actually wanted what was best for America (but just didn't know how to get it). These days, they are virtually all just kleptocrats.

Remember that Eisenhower's biggest achievement was the interstate highway system and he stole the idea from Hitler's autobahn for the rapid transport of military vehicles. Yep. Ike was a Republican.
