Apple Keynote

Did you watch the Apple keynote at 10:00? What was amazing is the new pricing model on all of their software upgrades.

Price announced: free.

The new hardware -- iPads, laptops, Mac Pro -- all look amazing and all are priced below expectations too. I have fairly current gear and I'm thinking I may have to trade it in.

Apple haters are going to have a hard time maintaining their high dudgeon when Apple gives away state of the art software for free.

My dudgeon is only about medium where Apple is concerned; I reserve high dudgeon for important matters "State of the art" is an undefined term. Was their software state of the art when you were able to crash any Apple computer with no more than three mouse clicks (it was a problem in their memory management that would have earned any first-year computer science student an "F" in the class).

Apple makes some really cute and clever devices, but they are now, and have always been, horribly over-priced and prone to failure.

You're just jealous because your flip-phone doesn't take pictures, granddad.

My flip phone, sonny boy, is an iPhone 4S (non-flippable, which I miss).
I am not an Apple hater; I am just not an Apple admirer.
