Samsung vs Apple

Anybody here have a Samsung Galaxy phone?  I've been reading some blogs on the new Apple iOS 7 and people keeping saying all the new Apple features have been part of Samsung's feature set for seven months.

I'm sure the Galaxy is a nice unit. But I don't know anybody who has one.

I love being able to stream music to my car and home stereo -- can Samsung do that?  I love streaming video to my TV. I love taking notes or adding contacts on one mobile device and having them automatically show up on all the others. I love voice activation. I love turn by turn GPS all hands free. I love being able to search, by voice if desired, all email or all contacts or anywhere else for keywords.

Can Samsung do that?

Have you installed iOS 7 on your iPhone yet?
If so, is it worthwhile?

Yes I installed it. It has some cool features but nothing life-changing. It's free so I guess it was worthwhile. Nothing I HATE in there.

If you have a new enough phone the embellishments to Siri are useful.

Mine is a 4s, but I try to make it a rule to not talk to inanimate objects.

Have you noticed a dramatic decrease in battery life? I think mine is just about cut in half, even after turning off a bunch of stuff. Good going, Apple.

You're not the first to say that, but no, my battery life wasn't affected. Start turning off shit in the Settings.

I've been turning stuff off. I just want to make sure I don't turn the damn thing into nothing more than an ugly pocket watch.

Do you know if there's a way to reinstall an older version of the OS?

What the fuck? Has Apple become the new Microsoft? They've always had a dictatorial business model, but this is ridiculous.
