2022 Mid-Terms

Conventional wisdom says the party holding the White House, the House and the Senate loses seats in the mid-terms.  Especially if they haven't fulfilled their campaign promises.

I thought this year might be different, because Biden HAS passed some pretty major legislation, under extremely difficult times.  

Then I read that Biden's approval rating has slipped to 41%, the lowest in his administration and equal to Trump's average (whose low point was 34%....) Only Nixon was lower, at 24%.

Then I read that TWICE AS MANY Democrats are retiring from Congress in '22 as Republicans (22 versus 11 -- so far...). This also does not bode well for the future.

I think I may have mentioned this before, but we are all fucked.  Royally.

Gawd love Elizabeth Warren, she tells it like it is.

We need more party members speaking truth to power.

However, we ALSO need the Justice Department to start doing its fucking job.
