Lots of pretty words, a few stumbles but nothing major.  In summation a strong performance.

If it had been me however... with Mitch Yertle McConnell in the gallery, I would have asked him to stand up.  I would have said, "Mitch, you did everything in your power to stymie the agenda of my previous boss President Obama.  Now you're promising to do the same to me.  Mitch this is not serving your country.  This is not doing what's best for the voters.  You need to take a look at yourself, a good hard look, and try to see the place you're making for yourself in history.  Mitch, it's time to step up and do the right thing.  Mitch, it's time to grow up."

But that's just me.

Biden said that the US would seize assets of Russian oligarchs, including yachts, planes and apartments.

He could have specified "apartments in TrumpTower."

The Republican response by Gov. Kim Reynolds was actually pretty good, in that she said nothing and she made no "water gaffes" like Marco Rubio.  She said Republicans are for this & that, basically the same things Biden said Democrats were for.  When's somebody gonna stand up and count the overlap?

Over the next couple of days it'll be interesting to see how far Faux News goes to make up stuff that wasn't in the SOTU.

How soon Republicans forget that it was actually Trump who set the Afghanistan withdrawal timetable.

And Kim Reynolds is in trouble for misuse of pandemic relief funds.
