I had the date wrong, Trumps SOTU address is tomorrow Jan 30.
Should be interesting. It will be HEAVILY scripted and if he sticks to the prompter I'm sure it'll be uncontroversial. But his little eyes have a tendency to glaze over if you give him a full paragraph, and he might veer off into the size of the crowd at his inauguration, Crooked Hillary's e-mail server or Rocket Man's little penis. Gawd this is the best reality TV show ever.

Arguably, "House" in House of Representatives should be capitalized. Arguably, more than one visitor can fit in the gallery, hence it's a "visitors' gallery."

Trump's not used to being told "no." He probably wasn't even aware of the tri-parte structure of government and thought he could be in effect King of the United States.

I call on the Congress to empower every cabinet secretary with the authority to reward good workers — and to remove federal employees who undermine the public trust or fail the American people.
And just who is the target of Trump's desire to usurp Congressional oversight? Why Robert Mueller of course.
NPR says that even if this pussywhipped GOP Congress gives him this power, the Supreme Court will take it away again.
But probably not until AFTER the Mueller investigation is scuppered and buried.

Wow. Biden's 2024 SOTU is a barn-burner. The first ten minutes were absolutely BRUTAL for Republicans. And the Supreme Court.
I may have to reevaluate my prediction for the election, if this is a preview of his campaign. Hard hitting.
