I can't imagine making calls for any candidate is fun, nor can I imagine receiving them is fun. More importantly, I seriously doubt if cold calling has ever swayed a single voter's opinion.

I agree that the calls are mostly a waste of time. I only did it once: for Obama's first campaign. It was only worthwhile for me because I talked to a 96-year-old black woman named Grace, who told me she'd been waiting "near a hunnerd years" for this opportunity. Quite moving.

Yeah, doubly disappointing that he turned out to be such a lily liver.

In the debates and Hillary's interviews she often mentions that Obama had to deal with the financial collapse before anything else. Why she doesn't brand this as "George W. Bush's financial collapse" or "The Republican financial collapse" I cannot fathom.

It would be dishonest of her to refer to the collapse in that manner.

Much of the blame must be laid on Bill Clinton's signing the bill to repeal the Glass-Steagall Act in its entirety.
