On QorA today, I saw a question and answer that kind of boggled my mind.

A: Dude. We came within a whisker of electing the most dishonest, corrupt, authoritarian Evita wannabe in history. Right now there are campaigns to get rid of the Electoral College and restrict free speech. Packing the Supreme Court has been suggested, and members of one party are being physically assaulted in public. Blackshirts are attacking people in the streets and destroying property. The country hadn’t been in this much danger of tyranny since Woodrow Wilson’s ‘War Socialism’ and his American Vigilance Patrol.

I mean, really. Dishonest? Corrupt? Authoritarian? Evita wannabe? Was this guy looking at the same Hillary as me? I guess the answer is no.

Fox viewers get a different view of the world.

There was a survey a few months ago.  It proved that Fox viewers watched Fox and listened to Rush Limbaugh only. They didn't trust the "lamestream media" so they never stepped outside the conservative echo chamber.

In a dictatorship, the first thing a dictator must do is control the media, so the truth never gets out.  Trump's voters are self-limiting their own media, so there's no need to silence the rest of the press.  As long as Democratic excitement remains low -- and Clinton was a low excitement candidate -- enough Democrats will not vote to allow the Fox viewership to decide elections.

I don't trust the polls that say Joe Biden is leading the Democratic candidates.  I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but it just seems like a Heritage Foundation/Russian intelligence ploy to advance the least motivating opposition to Trump 2020.

Wow.  I didn't think "my selfless generosity" would even be noticed!  I guess fundraising MUST be the "best in years" if they've authorized an extension of the fundraising deadline!

I'm glad THF is fighting for my health care, the nation's borders, the integrity of my vote and wise use of my tax dollars.  I'd hate to think anyone was working AGAINST those things.

Republicans — or more specifically, the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute, and the Koch brothers — have had to dig deeper and go further afield with every election, to find candidates willing to front their agenda.

Reagan, a washed-up B-movie actor of not much intelligence, was their first find.

His V.P., a former CIA director with a lot of skeletons, was the next. I think GHW was not unintelligent, but he had a lot of secrets he needed to hide. He was probably blackmailed.

His son was a C- student who barely noticed and never cared what was being done under his name. Cheney was in charge, and he was complicit up to his ears.

Trump is a reality TV figure without enough intellectual firepower to blow his own nose. His incredible incompetence is blowing up in the Koch’s faces, making them regret promoting such a moronic stooge so far beyond his understanding.
