Bernie -- and Howard Schultz -- and Elizabeth Warren -- and Joe Biden -- and a whole host of other people will be important for defining the tone of the Democratic 2020 primaries. They will raise the issues, raise awareness, hopefully uncover issues we can all agree on and help build a platform that is strongly opposed to Trumpism but also offers some positives for this country, including some kind of proposed solution to 40 years of regressive Republicanism and the staggering $22T debt they've left us.
But there's NO WAY any of those people should be elevated to the presidency.
The country needs new blood. New paradigms. New ways of thinking.
