Pshaw.  This is nuthin'.

Look up the history of Diebold (now Premier Election Solutions).  Their CEO Walden O'Dell was a huge contributor to Republican candidates, while at the same time selling electronic polling machines that were used extensively.  A unique feature of the machines was a lack of any audit trails, or secondary count.  This became an issue when many GOP candidates started getting more votes in some counties than there were registered voters.
