What is the oddest part of this gif?

Granted, much is odd here.  But I've noticed something no one else around here has.

Huh. Maybe that the car across the street does not appear in one of the views? Or the shadow (of a pole?) does not appear in the other? Those are probably just camera angle though.

Nah.  Those are attributable to the camera angles.  But since you went to the trouble of scrutinizing I'll tell you.
Or ask you, rather, about what you think about this.  It certainly looks like attempted murder gone wrong, with the car aiming and then appearing to follow the person.  Or pull it out, who knows.  Three policemen who have seen this think it's attempted murder.  But that's not what I noticed.
What is that at the base of the telephone pole in the can... that wasn't attended to or placed by the nearest person (but maybe it was the other)... and when the car hit the pole, this can tipped over with a liquid running into the street?

Three policemen are trained to think the worst of people. I think, if it had been attempted murder, the driver would've waited until the peds weren't right behind a telephone pole. Looks like simple loss of control to me (the car DOES hit the wall first).

What's in the jerry can? Who knows. Water. Weed killer. Lots of people leave lots of things on the street, and near a pole is the logical place. Why is this significant to you? By the way, the can's probably empty -- the liquid appears to come from the radiator not the can.

I was wondering why the other girl was walking in the street instead of on the sidewalk. That choice saved her life - two near-misses in one crash.

What I notice is the swiftness with which the woman jumps behind the pole. That's excellent. I know women who'd have frozen and that would have gone way differently.
