Chris Rock has a new Netflix special out called "Selective Outrage," but I only made it seven minutes into it. Instead of comedy, instead of a carefully crafted show, he just stands there yelling "Fuck this" and "Fuck that" and "Nigga this" and "Nigga that."
I'm past being shocked by words.
Apparently, he is not.
Mrs NoCo asked a reasonable question. Why is it okay for African-Americans to use the N-word when nobody else can? It's mostly used as a derogatory term too. Good question. It's not like he word "queer" where a community has reclaimed a term to make it acceptable again.
