That does sound interesting.
I was, I think, sixteen years old when I saw Psycho. Cuts from that scene and the sound effects (screech, screech, screech) are still clear in my memory. That can't be said for many movie scenes.

Naive child that I was, I didn't know anything about the movie when I first saw it on British TV, at about 15-16 years old. Late in the evening, everybody else in bed. Scared the crap out of me.
