I know his name too, just not his music. I think his stuff wasn't my style. I'll verify later today. I actually thought he was a saxophonist or something, not a singer.

Al Jarreau was outstanding. I loved his singing.
I thought he was much older. I wonder what that means.

I listened to some Al Jarreau on iTunes. I confirmed why I don't have any of his stuff. His brand of Starbucks / hold music jazz is an anathema to me.

"Starbucks / hold music jazz"?

What is that?

Music you hear when you call your insurance company on a claim, and hold in queue for two hours 44 minutes the "the first available agent" because "your call is important to us."

Or music you hear in a Starbucks. It's the same stuff.

You must have a different insurance company. I have never heard Al Jarreau on "hold" music. Or anything even close.

As to Starbucks, I know nothing of their music as I don't go to Starbucks. Some of the worst coffee in the world, but maybe okay for people who don't know the difference.

You know, it's okay to say that you don't like something without making remarks to insult those who may disagree with you.

I didn't insult people who like crappy music. That's their perfect right.

Why do you feel the need to insult people who like Starbucks coffee?

No problemo. I'm ALWAYS cranky even when my pants are dry.

That's one of the few problems I don't have.

I had wet pants all last week.

Built a porch in the rain. Kneeled on the lawn to cut the lumber, sat on the roof to attach the plywood. It made me cranky.
