| What I don't understand though is why they haven't painted the payload capsule pink, and put it at an angle. |

| How long do you think it will take those guys do realize that there was a reason that others haven't been trying to land their boosters for the past fifty years?

| When Musk runs out of money?
Even the Russkies discarded their SRBs, though they landed their payload capsules on dry land. Usually. |

| How can he be so stupid about rockets when he builds such amazing automobiles?
Maybe he should try building electric rockets.

| Heh, that's a great site. Nothing scientific, no lists of accomplishments, no pictures or designs. Just a list of "Officers & Board of Directors" (which are mostly the same guys) and links to other sites. It's Rocket Club for grown ups. |

| Today's scheduled launch of the Super Heavy is scrubbed until Wednesday. "SpaceX has scrubbed today's launch attempt due to a fueling issue. A new attempt will occur in no earlier than April 19. We will update our coverage as a new launch time is announced." Tomorrow Fox "News" goes boom. Maybe that will be enough -- unless that is "scrubbed" too by a massive out-of-court settlement? I can't imagine Dominion settling for mere money though. They're going to insist on public acknowledgments of lying, repeated acknowledgments. And they should insist on changes to FNC's business model. A guy can always hope. |

| Hopefully the other of these powerful engines will leave the launchpad today, instead of blowing up on the pad. |

| I was watching the SpaceX webcast. My impression at the time was that once the vehicle was pinwheeling out of control, they waited for a few seconds to see if anything could be done, and then ordered a self-destruct. But then I had to go to work, and I haven't followed up with any other reports. |
