| A simple little task: connect a hand-held shower head to the utility sink for bathing dogs.
The aerator on the utility sink is 55/64" - 27 threads per inch.
All hand-held showers are 3/8" - 24 threads per inch.
Do they make an adapter? No they do not. |

| Went to my favorite plumbing specialty store (as opposed to Home Depot) who are only open Mon-Fri and they figured it out. Three adapters screwed together: a 55/64" female-to-female adapter, screwed to a 55/64" male-to-1/2" pipe thread male, screwed to a 1/2" pipe-thread female to 3/8" pipe thread male. Only $17.64(!)  |

| I didn't make it through that horrid movie.  Glad you figured out the adapters, that's what I was gonna suggest because that's what we had to do. Annoying but effective. |

| You should have seen my Three Stooges moment.
I unscrewed the shower head to wash out my water jug. When I turned on the faucet, the hose LEAPT into the air and began flopping around, spraying water EVERYWHERE -- walls, ceiling, floor, washer & dryer, and soaking me to the bone. It was funny for sure. |
