Heather Cox Richardson spoke with clarity and insight rare in political dialog these days, so I followed a couple of links and ended up reading (and joining) her substack. The free subscription does not allow one to post comments, but with 1.7m followers, the comments are voluminous and (mostly) encouraging. I think just knowing they're out there will be good for my soul. I don't need necessarily to add my 2ยข. I don't have any insights not already mentioned. I'm not as smart as most of the commenters, and certainly nowhere near as smart as Heather.
