Mississippi State Flag

Mississippi State legislature voted 93 to 23 to finally remove the confederate flag from inside their state flag, the last remaining state flag with confederate stripes.

This is good.

The 23 who voted against it should be shamed out of office.

I am not shocked in the least except that the PD didn't actually kill him.
Madison/Ridgeland is famous for being the white flight area. They literally changed building codes to keep certain types of businesses out of the area to discourage non-whites. I'm shocked black folks still go and shop out there.

Instead of filming the encounter, I would've reached into the cop car, grabbed the car keys, and thrown them onto the roof of the gas station.

As mentioned in the BLM thread, the police need a radical chain jerk in this country. Law enforcement has become a haven for bullies and people with authority issues. Demilitarization cannot happen fast enough. A national database of cops with behavior issues is the very first step. A mandatory community review whenever a life is taken is another. These are just common-fucking-sense.
