Hey I just had an idea. Usually, by the time I get around to thinking of something, there are a couple dozen other people already down the road with my idea. We'll see about this one.
Create a website with one simple question: what issue is most important? Climate change? Gun control? Access to abortion? Renewable energy? Gays in the military? The vinyl resurgence? Other?
Everybody gets one vote per day.
The website tracks approximately what part of the world you're from, based on your URL. Maps are created with the results.
This would provide a rough roadmap for the poor lawmakers who are so distanced from, so remote from their constituents that they can only hear lobbyists.
