I'll bet that guy is getting a real kick out of pulling stupid peoples' chains.
I can picture him reading about his joke on the internet and spitting up his beer as he laughs hie ass off.

If you watch the video it becomes evident the only stupid person in this story is him.

Well, the guy got off the ground in his steam-powered rocket. I'm surprised.

He was carted away in an ambulance afterward though. Maybe the g-forces were more than he anticipated.

Remember this guy? He healed after the previous hard landing and did it again.

Well, Earth may not be flat, but “Mad” Mike certainly may be. Seems like a reasonable trade-off. In any case, it is certainly a definitive conclusion
