| Not INTENTIONALLY, but the people around him may be savvy enough to use His Orangeness to, in effect, emit an ink cloud while they do their dirty work.
Remember, the GOP has a history of hiring incompetent buffoons to be the Face of Government while nefarious black-gloved operatives do the bidding of mustachioed henchmen who don't wash or like kittens.
And no, I'm not exaggerating or dealing in stereotypes. |

Priebus disputes the idea that he was fired, telling the Wall Street Journal’s Michael Bender that he “resigned privately yesterday.” And it’s certainly possible the motorcade situation looked more awkward than it actually was.
But it still seems rather strange that a Chief of Staff who had already resigned would accompany the president to an event in New York, and that Priebus was initially loaded into one vehicle before being put on another at the last minute. It leads to some reasonable suspicious that, as Gerstein speculates, the firing might have gone down on Air Force One. |

| Lawrence O'Donnell is right, Scaramucci is possibly the only person with a more inflated self-worth, and even less understanding of the issues, than the president he serves. They do not understand, have not grasped the fact that they're public servants, that they work for us not the other way around. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. The fact that he wants utter secrecy on apparently all aspects of his presidency is possibly the scariest aspect of this administration. |

I was wrong. Anthony Scaramucci beat him out the door, after only ten days on the job. The Chaos President (KAOS President?) continues to run the White House the same way he ran his reality TV show. ANYTHING to draw attention away from Robert Mueller's probe, while he TRIES to find some way, any way to derail the probe that everyone knows is going to conclude Donald's empire is built on laundering Russian organized crime money. |
