Second season of Judd Apatow's Netflix series was posted yesterday, and we just binge-watched it. Like the first season, some of the dialog is awkward and uncomfortable (in a British "The Office" kind of way) and the two lead characters' on-again/off-again relationship feels like a. they're stretching it for dramatic mileage and b. the characters are unrealistically indecisive....
But, that said, it's kinda of refreshing in its quirkiness. Some genuinely laugh out loud moments, a lot of smart references, and the characters do grow on you. It was a six hour investment I'm not sorry I made.
