A spoof of documentaries -- sometimes specific documentaries, sometimes documentaries in general -- starring Fred Armison and Bill Hader.
The one I'm watching now is about a fictional Al Capone Festival in a small town in Iceland. The masks they make, the signs they put up, the pictures the schoolchildren draw of Al Capone are all absolutely believable. People really do dumb stuff like this.
Making the documentary unoutrageous. Making it superficially believable. Making it just slightly stupid. Like Garry Shandling, the fine line between parody and parroting means that, unless you're in on "the joke," there is no joke there.
