Three days ago, the high temp here was below 60. Right now, it is a bit over 111.

That's not acceptable.

I guess it could be worse. It could be 112.

Much nicer today. Only got up to 108. It has already fallen back to 103. Yesterday, the temp continued rising until about 6 pm, which is very unusual.

Phoenix got up to 115 yesterday. Four people died. 114 predicted for tomorrow.

Had a fairly nice day yesterday: only one hundred degrees. Rather pleasant, relatively. Now it is 105.5 and rising. It has gone up two degrees in the past thirty minutes.

By the way, the historical average high for the month is June is seventy-six degrees.

Since the last post, it has risen to 108.5. Hope it stops there.

It seems to have peaked at 111.4. It has since fallen to 109.5.
This is getting ridiculous. I'm concerned about what July and August will be.

It has zipped right on up to 113. Still climbing.
The hottest I have recorded here is 114.4 a couple of years ago, but I believe that was in August.

Sixty-four degrees outside. Clear and sunny, but not warm. Four days ago, the temp was fifty degrees higher.

Ten miles is too far. "Near" is more like 500 feet.

But in another thread, you suggested moving everyone away from such low-lying areas.

That's just smart, moving people before the water rises.  What's your issue?
