I have been a fan of Hayao Miyazaki for many years, but only have two of his films: Princess Mononoke (1997) and Spirited Away (2001). He was brought to mind again this week because Edmund Stone's radio show about soundtrack music (called "The Score"), which originates in Portland but is carried by our Seattle classical station, last week's show was on Joe Hisaishi, Miyazaki's chosen composer.
Anyway, I revisted the films this week and was reastonished all over again. Wondering what others I need to investigate. Any fans?
