No Movies

In the mood to go out to a movie today, but can't find a single one I want to see (that I have already).  Revenant?  Too dark.  Dirty Grandpa?  Too dumb.  13 Hours?  Too harrowing.  Sisters?  Too precious.

The Fandango app for iPad is really impressive, now that I've fully activated it.

You give it basic information, like your zip code, and it shows you a list of all the movies playing within driving distance. You can click on any movie poster to get the theater, show times, plot synopsis and a trailer. If you click on the theater, it shows you all movies playing there today and their show times. Also Google map directions if you need them.

You can tag certain theatres as favorites, and then only they (and their movies) appear -- even if, as some of mine don't, they don't sell tickets online through Fandango. For theaters that do, you can buy a ticket with a single click.

Slick.

I know I was there too.
The other day Gods of Egypt came out which will be completely stupid but might would entertain me with some special effects.

I'm desperately awaiting the Batman Superman movie.
