California traffic is so screwed up, it probably won't make any difference.

It seems to me that "robo-cars" is one of those concepts that is an excellent idea in principle, but in practice -- unless implemented everywhere all at once -- contains the potential for disaster. A few robocars in the midst of the bulk of irrational, unpredictable, unreliable and frankly dangerous human drivers has all the elements of a catastrophic failure.

Besides, putting on-board computers, cameras and sensors isn't the way to go. The roads should be drive-by-wire with central control.

Yeah right. If you think taking guns from rednecks is hard, try taking their rigs.

Worse than ginger beer?

I've never tasted ginger beer, but I'd say worse than ginger beer.

I've had a bunch of biker friends who wore (at least) XXL chaps. No problem there, unless one was foolish enough to remark on them.

Do Jamaicans wear chaps when they drink ginger beer?
I'm not that familiar with their culture.
