| Marjorie Taylor Greene's new book was published yesterday, by the only publisher that would take it, Winning Team Publishing, the totally non-ironic book press owned by Donald Trump Junior. It was sketched out in crayon by Ms. Greene during frequent potty breaks, and then turned into a book by a league of AI chatbots that had to be trained not to self-destruct in the process. - Quote :

HOWEVER... Democrats are clever. Democrats know there is no other Republican able, willing or available to take over as Speaker. Democrats may(?) let the Republicans flounder for a few votes, without Democratic support -- then suddenly put forward Hakeen Jeffries again as Speaker. At this point, House Republicans will have little option but to vote for a Speaker from the opposition party. At least, in my mind that's what happens. |
