| Lacking in artistic quality, but excellent prose.
Much better than we did in the 60s and 70s; all we could come up with was, "Kill the Pigs!".

| Like. See why can't we get graffiti artists down here like that? That's cool. We do have cool train graffiti though. |

| Where did you get that, NoCo? Is it a local Seattle display?
Graffiti can be educational. A friend was in East Berlin (yes, before the wall came down). He is (or was) a political science professor on some sort of tour. He saw scrawled on the side of a dumpster, "Microsoft Sucks." This was at a time when the residents of East Berlin were not supposed to have any American computer products. He tried to get the bus driver to circle the block so that he could get a picture of it for me, but no luck.

It's on the south wall of the Metropolitan Market, Sand Point location. I walked past it on my way to the Yummy Cafe, did a doubletake, and decided to snap it with my iPhone. For some reason it reminds me of this: |

| Yep. - Quote :
- The band has toured and recorded with a mostly unaltered lineup (Langford, Greenhalgh, Timms, Goulding, Bell, Edmonds, Honeyman, and bassist Sarah Corina) throughout the 1990s and early 21st century, and has a highly devoted following.
In a September 2010 interview, Jon Langford revealed that new Mekons album called Ancient & Modern has been recorded and that the band will tour the United States in 2011.[1][2]
In a February 2011 interview, Langford discussed the music documentary about the band, Revenge of the Mekons, directed by Joe Angio and tentatively scheduled for release in early 2013.[3] Wikipedia |

| Christ! Those guys must be nearly as old as I am. Still touring - good for them. I've got to ask my daughter if she has any involvement with them; I'd love to meet the group.
