| Today an audiotape surfaced showing Trump bragging about trying to bag a married woman, just shortly after his marriage to Malania. He also said that rich powerful men like him can do anything they want to women.
I put "bombshell" in quotes because I doubt anybody is really that surprised. I wonder what effect, if any, it will have.
Probably, nothing? |

| Meanwhile, Fox News has not mentioned the new Trump tape but instead is running a story about Wikileaks releasing some emails from Clinton's former chief of staff, where Clinton is shown to support universal healthcare and open borders. Oooo, scary! |

| LOL. This morning Fox has had to change their stance, with droves of Republicans openly withdrawing their support for Trump, now they're having to discuss the possibility of Trump withdrawing from the race. What a mess. Laugh laugh I thought I'd cry. |

| There were stories at the start of the week about how a new revelation from Wikileaks was going to appear Wednesday which would force Clinton to withdraw from the race. That seems to have been - overstated. And then came Trump's weekly fuck-up. |

| One of the reasons I find this so deliciously hilarious is that, as Don keeps pointing out, Bill Clinton is every bit the pig that he is, as are many male politicians up to and including Kennedy. But because of the circumstances, this buys Trump no slack -- especially with his child-raping evangelical base!
Thank goodness there have been no scandals, so far, in the Obama Whitehouse. |

| Billy Bush was fired today for his comments eleven years ago.
Would that Trump paid a price too.

| Both the left and the right are saying Trump's comments do not rise to the level of Bill Clinton's actions. This puzzles me. Trump talked about grabbing women's genitals without their consent. Clinton had several CONSENSUAL relationships outside his marriage. TMK he never raped anyone, never forced himself on anyone, never grabbed anyone publicly against their will. Certainly -- and this is key -- he never bragged about what he'd done. I think the comparison bears no fruit. [Edit: Well okay, there are allegations. He Said She Said. Who knows the truth.]

| The Republicans have been distorting Bill Clinton's record for so long they've started to believe their own lies. If you listen to one of them talk about the Lewinsky affair, Bill took advantage of a young intern. In fact, she was a grown woman who was an employee (not an intern), and probably instigated the affair. But that wouldn't be sensational enough. |

| The Republicans abhor the Clintons for the sole reason that they were so popular. The same reason that they hated John Kennedy and, to a lesser extent, Bobby Kennedy.

| Today it came out that Trump's "locker room boasting" wasn't all talk. He has a long history of sexual abuse as we've all known.
The last month of this campaign -- as predicted -- is getting down and dirty. Expect some new allegations against Clinton as well.
By November we voters will be writing in Bill Cosby. |

| Watching Stephen Ciolbert on YouTube last night, he had a laugh-out-loud line:
"Mike Pence, who has to be considered an undecided voter at this point..." |
