PostSubject: Pet Gender   Pet Gender EmptySat Nov 14, 2015 8:57 am

Desi and Scout are the first male pets I've had in my life. I don't know if it's because they're male -- or young -- but they exhibit some behavior -- chasing the cat and peeing on any fabrics on the floor -- that I've never experienced with the numerous female dogs we've owned.

I've given up trying to reform their behavior. They're unteachable.

No dog in unteachable.

But it does take effort. A long walk and steady and consistent treating for wanted behaviors are a start. I can send you a book, if you like? (Really, I don't mind.)

As to genders, it doesn't matter. Some of the worst territorial behavior I ever saw was two fixed females of the same age.

I sure agree with you there, Jenni.

Wait -- are we still talking about pets?

Nah, I'm pretty sure it applies to all mammals.
