| We don't usually go in for t-shirts with clever slogans.
However, a few years ago I bought one for the Mrs that says, "Just Because I'm Moody (doesn't mean you're not irritating)."
Yesterday I found one for myself: "I'm Not Stubborn (my way is just better)." |

| A few years back, I saw one on the street that was just plain red with white block letters: BOSTON SUCKS
I thought, you know, there's probably a few places that would find that offensive, but in New York, you just figure he's a Yankees fan. And my second thought was, you know, it really isn't what you'd call subtle - but he's got a point. |

That would likely be limited to Boston. I can't remember the last time I bought a t-shirt. People give them to me, and I sometimes wonder why they made the selection. I have one with Monty Python's killer bunny and the script, "Death awaits you with nasty, pointy teeth." That isn't the exact line from the movie, but close enough. Another is Stewie Griffiin with the text, "I like you. When the world is mine, your death will be quick and painless." Another just says, "Run with Scissors." Hmmm. |

| Death seems to be the common denominator. Why is that?
Many years ago I bought my dad a birthday card that cracked us up for decades. The outside shows a big fat kid. It says, "You're my friend."
Inside: "My puppy was my friend but my puppy's busted." |

| Ran across this while reading AlJazeera News this morning: - Quote :
- "It's bad," Ann Warner, who owns Howard's Pub on Ocracoke Island, told the Associated Press by telephone. "The water came up to the inside of our bottom floor, which has never had water."
She said a skylight blew out and whitecaps coursed through her front yard and underneath her elevated house.
"We're safe," Warner added. "But it's certainly a mess." I read it while, coincidentally, wearing this T-shirt: |

| I ran across a new one for myself this week, and had to buy it.
"It's OK if you disagree with me...
I can't force you to be right." |
