Documentary on the Ukranian protest group known as Femen. They're a half dozen idealistic young women who paint slogans on their bodies and turn up at conferences and sporting events, take off their shirts, and scream slogans until they're escorted out. They protest, um, "paternalism, corruption, religion, sex tourism and the world order."
The authorities didn't take them too seriously at first.
But when they travelled to Moscow in support of Pussy Riot they got seriously beat up by the police. They had charges filed against them. They lost their ability to travel internationally.
So they fled to France and Switzerland and now carry on separately.
Excellent film work. Story needs a happier ending though.
