It shouldn't be for an oil cooker. The strange piece is what's called an air gap. It is primarily to prevent a backup in the drain system from being pushed up into pipes that carry potable water. You also have an air gap in the drain from your dishwasher. That's the funny looking cylindrical bit sticking up behind your sink.

That makes perfect sense. The drain is for the condensation produced by the refrigeration system. The reason for the trap is to keep warm ambient air away from the cooling system.

Go to google with a blank search. At the top right of the page is the word "Images". Click on that. Then click on the camera icon that shows up. It gives you the option of uploading an image file or entering a URL. Piece of cake.

Fuck it.

Top LEFT has an "Images" option but that does not lead to a camera icon.  Maybe mobile is different, maybe Apple is different.  I can't be arsed.

I guess it doesn't work on mobile. I tried it on my iPhone and it was completely useless.
And I intentionally used the images from the vendor's web site so that google image search would work and make it simple. Shit! A pox on non-standard googles!
