Courtroom Sketches Empty
PostSubject: Courtroom Sketches   Courtroom Sketches EmptySat Apr 27, 2024 1:37 pm

I know most courtrooms don't allow photographers, so the news media reply on courtroom sketch artists to portray the visuals.

I got to wondering: who pays the artists?  Why is there only one? Where do they sit? Do they get paid a flat fee, or do they get royalties every time one of their sketches is broadcast or reprinted?

Christine Cornell for CNN seems to be a particularly good artist—lots of detail in a short window, and her chalk(?) sketches are more colorful than most.

But she makes Trump look like a monster.
