Airlines are famous for this, but many other industries as well. For instance, shopping for rare CDs online, you sometimes find somebody offering one for $30 but charging over $200 for shipping.
Anyway, the example they used on TV was Taylor Swift concert tickets in New York that very week. Tickets were $1500 a seat, but junk fees were another $500. Two thousand dollars to attend a concert, that you had to beg mom & dad to buy you.
Yikes. I thought ticket prices were nuts in MY day.
