ISIS is a movement, a region-wide alternative-government for young men & women who feel disaffected by their local US-supported governments. Like Osama bin Laden, al-Baghdadi was a figurehead, a public face -- but not a leader, not a director, not a decision-maker. His loss will, if anything, strengthen the resolve of the movement.
