Hillary Clinton just made a facetious suggestion on the Rachel Maddow show that I’m sure Fox News will be all over tomorrow.
She said, “Imagine if the tables were turned, and some Democratic candidate said, "China, if you’re listening, if you could somehow find Donald Trump’s tax returns, I’m sure the nation would be grateful.” William Barr, in his testimony today, said this would be perfectly acceptable."
Interesting, both as a thought experiment, and as a commentary on what Russian did -- and the Republicans excusing of it.
Of course it's entirely predictable that the right-wing echosphere will scream out tomorrow "HILLARY CALLS FOR CHINA TO HACK IRS!!!"
