| I'm sure this isn't an original thought, but this is the first generation to grow up immersed 24/7 in first-person shooter video games. Must have a normalizing influence. Also, Marvel movies and Fast & Furious and all those other movie franchises featuring the good guys subduing the bad guys with a hail of semi-automatic weapons. It's endemic. Our culture glorifies guns ( wouldn't surprise me to find out the NRA contributes to these sorts of productions). |
