| This is a British series running on Netflix. What it is, is "Twilight Zone" for the 2010s. Each episode takes a premise and explores its logical endpoint. They do it with minimal special effects (like "Twilight Zone") but the budget doesn't feel cramped. Each episode -- and most of them are an hour long -- plays like a small movie. Some, many of the premises are pretty fascinating.
- 1:3 "The Entire History of You." What if people could record everything they see, and play it back on the inside of their eyelids at will? What if these memories could be projected to a screen and shared? A man suspects his wife of cheating on him. He confronts the man he suspects, finds footage of his wife in the man's memory -- and kills him. He then confronts his wife, who admits the affair but it didn't mean anything to her. He is left with the memory of her view of the cheating.
- 3:5 "Men Against Fire." Soldiers go out to kill "roaches" which are people who have become these zombie-like inhuman things. They use neural implants to identify them. But one soldier discovers that the neural implants are providing false characteristics, that the so-called "roaches" aren't inhuman at all but just poor people.
- 3:3 "Shut Up and Dance." A teenaged boy is filmed masturbating by his hacked computer, then blackmailed into performing heinous acts. He runs into a whole bunch of other people being similarly framed for indiscretions on their computers.
- 3:2 "Playtest." A man tests a virtual reality software that is so realistic and frightening that he loses consciousness and dies.
- 2:1 "Be Right Back." A young widow discovers an app that can bring back her late husband, by mining his history on her phone. First as e-messages, and later as an android programmed to sound and look like him. She soon realizes it's too predictable to really be him.
Anyway, the episodes are really well done and mostly pretty darn engaging. |

| I watched that program and it is well done. Nothing over the top, just good story telling. Season four is supposed to be released sometime this year.
