Saw a heating/cooling gel pad in the analgesics aisle named "Thera-Pearl." -

Trouble is, the letters were all the same size and could be parsed more than one way.

Ayds is a very old product. I recall a member of my family eating that at least sixty years ago.

Here's a site with some funny food product names.

Of course many of them are not English-speaking countries, so the names are fine in the other countries.

There's an old story - and I don't know if it's true - that in some language the word Camaro means "loose bowels". When an old Standard Oil company was looking for a new name - they had been using Esso, but problems arose that denied them the right to use that - so after lengthy investigation, they chose Exxon, because it had no meaning in any language. They were going to use Exon - with one X - but that was the name of the governor of some sls.

The apocryphal story that Chevy Nova sales were dismal in Latin America is apparently not true.

The apocryphal story that "Coca-Cola" translates to "bite the wax tadpole" in Chinese is also apparently not true.

Still, "Urinal" for a hot drink?  Really?

But the box says "hot drink" [in English]!
