It's a scary situation when the prez and his staff can't tell the difference between real and bullshit.
Although it does give me some ideas for things to post for him.

I guess this goes along with this.

They were devoting their airtime to a "breaking story" that Hillary Rodham Clinton had "illegally" gotten financial and staff support from the DNC prior to her clinching the Democratic nomination. Seriously. This was their lead story.
Not a word about Roy Moore.
It's like two different worlds. Earth 2. Everything they decide not to cover is "fake" while what they make up -- without evidence -- is somehow not fake.
The right-wing echosphere spent several years (and hundreds of millions of dollars in public money) investigating the Clintons for financial improprieties, and semen stains on a dress, and running a sex slave operation out of the basement of a DC pizza joint, and inviting terrorists into the Benghazi compound to kill Ambassador Stevens -- but what did they get out of it? No prosecutions, no convictions, not even any prosecutors willing to bring a case to court. There is literally no there, there.
What a time we live in.

Unless someone quietly gives Roy Moore a large "incentive", I expect he will continue the campaign and probably win the election. It is Alabama, after all.

In Alabama, I hear the definition of a virgin is a 7-year-old who can run faster than her uncles.

I had heard that a virgin in the south is the ugliest girl in the second grade.

Time, People and Sports Illustrated are joining the fake news brigade. Personally, I never put much stock in them anyway. Seems an odd investment for the Kochs, a money-losing proposition. They must have some grand plan to re-invigorate them with stories about aliens and Elvis sightings.

Last night Sean Hannity had a breakdown on-air. I happened to be watching this, because I was tired of MSNBC's constant repeating of the NYT story and was curious how Faux News would be treating it.
The mental gymnastics displayed on Sean's show were nothing short of breathtaking.
According to Sean and all three of his guests, somehow the Mueller investigation's closing in on Herr Drumpf meant that Crooked Hillary was about to be indicted for using a private e-mail server and losing 33,000 e-mails (yes, that is still their lead story). Each guest drew some tenuous filament between the two stories and pronounced this was definitely about to happen.
And while I'm watching this, I'm thinking... THIS is where Donny gets his "news." This is the TV station he watches "8 hours per day" and he claims all others are "fake news."
Hoo-boy. Makes we wanna holler, throw up both my hands.

Since yesterday was such a consequential day for anti-Trump news, and MSNBC had exhausted the angles from which they could repeat the stories, I switched over to FNC to see how they would be spinning it.
Alas, they hadn't figured out a way they could spin it in Trump's favor yet.
They simply didn't cover ANY of the stories. Not a word. Instead, their lead story (and I'm not making this up) was how political correctness meant that everyone should refer to gingerbread men as "gingerbread persons" now.
Astonishing.
We've been hearing that Russian disinformation is working to divide Americans and sow doubt about well-known universal truths. But unless Rupert Murdoch is getting Russian funding, I think the Russian component is a minority factor.
Could Russians be feeding MSNBC fake news stories? Doubtful. All the media outlets except Fox are carrying the same stories.

Here's the video they talk about in the above vid, where Bill Hader's face very subtly morphs into Schwarzenegger's face when he's doing the voice. It's creepy!
