They have just announced evacuation orders for about 100,000 people who live downstream from the Oroville dam. It's about 70 miles north of Sacramento, and is the highest dam in the States; over 700 feet, I believe. There are concerns that the dam may collapse. A few days ago, they opened the emergency spillway after discovering a 500 foot hole in the dam.
Fuck the rain; I want my drought back.
