To be fair, there are parts of the Warren Commission Report which just don't fit.

My personal opinion is it was an organized crime hit, carried out by Cuban nationals, and covered up through a mixture of incompetence and fear of reprisals.

50 year anniversary is this November, isn't it? Don't some files become unsealed after 50 years or something?

Fifty fucking years? My god, I hadn't realized it had been that long. I was sitting in a Navy avionics school classroom when the news came over the PA system.  Holy shit, I'm old (and I have become unsealed).

I was in grade school.  News came over the PA, and we were all sent home for the day.  I was only nine, so it didn't really mean much to me.  I remember some teachers crying, and my parents being very scared that it was a commie plot or something.

Rather than being sent home, no one was allowed off the base for (I believe) three days. I know that everyone had to stay the weekend, which really pissed off the married guys who lived off-base.

If you like weird theories, there were sure a bunch of them going around on the base that weekend.

Oh, hell. Just pick a country. Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, etc. Other suggestions: Lyndon Johnson, the CIA, the FBI, the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, the Mafia, the KKK. The list was endless.

In '63 it was the first presidential assassination in 62 years (the previous two were 16 years apart and 20 years apart).

His was also the last successful one (50 years ago).
