| I hardly ever use the browser on my iPhone, so I'm not worried about anyone tracking me. On my computer, I have tracking cookies blocked. Stoopid cookies!

How stoopid is that? Yahoo sucks. |

| Nevertheless I'm giving it a try. It at least allows me to post to UD from my iPad, whereas Safari does not. |

| Okay, I'm not impressed. Is there a way to open up a new browser window while keeping the existing one? If so I've been unable to find it. |

| Browsers in iOS are a strange thing. Apple will not allow a complete browser to be in the app store. Essentially, all you get is a new UI that runs on top of Safari.

| Actually, it's more of an ad-blocker than a browser. You can run it under Safari (if you activate "allow ad blockers") or you can run it in standalone mode, but in standalone mode it does not seem to be a full-featured browser.
It's Mozilla's version of NoScript. It's a way to avoid broadcasting everything you do, which is a good idea. I'm still trying to determine if it's usable. |

| At least I found a "classic version" display which makes websites look like they should, instead of the stripped down default look. |

| Did you notice that you just created three identical new threads? Are you testing the browser?

| I did? Oops.
I'm playing now with running Firefox Focus under Firefox for the iPad. So far this is by far my favorite configuration. Full featured and logical. |

| Is logging in and out a rational procedure?

One advantage(?)of Yahoo, apparently there is no "safe search" filter. Routine image searches bring up hardcore pornography along with everything else. |

| Were you by any chance searching for the Monty Python character Bigus Dickus? I can see where that may be problematic. |
