| Less important, but still relevant.
Kaine is so over-prepared that he keeps spouting out the same talking points over and over.
Pence is a much better speaker than Trump, but is in the uncomfortable position of apologizing for his running mate. He has denied several known facts. He keeps harping on Trump's misunderstandings of Clinton's work and history.
Both talk over each other.
The moderator should have a mic kill switch. |

| Kaine is making some great and powerful points. Pence is stammering to say Donald didn't really mean what he said. AWKWARD. |

| If the Clinton-Trump debate was a 99 to 1 landslide, this one is a closer 84 to 16 win for Kaine. Pence looked, dare I say it, "vice presidential." Maybe they can invert the ticket? |

| Consensus among both MSNBC and FNC is that Pence acquitted himself well, though he lost the debate on substance. Both networks said that Pence appears to be positioning himself for 2020, knowing that his ticket in 2016 is dead meat. The real loser tonight was Ted Cruz.
Interesting. |

| I didn't watch any of it. But Pence doesn't have a hope of ever being president, in 2020 or any year. He's another nutcase. |

| Think again.
That's not a disqualifying characteristic anymore for the GOP.
In fact, it's nearly a requirement. |

| The verdict seems to be that Pence "won" on the night, but actually lost on substance if people take the time to check whether what he said was true. |

| Pence is a despicable man. He may be a worse choice than Trump.

This year, FSR, that's not a factor in the campaigning. Boggles the imagination. PROVABLE falsehoods are repeated over and over, as if reality could be shaped by conviction. |
