Things That Don't Happen in a Small Town

Today, my wife was having brunch with our soon-to-be son-in-law, Joe, in a cafe  in Brooklyn. A friend of Joe's walked by and saw them and came in to say hello and join them for a coffee. After he left, my wife asked Joe if Yancey (the friend) was someone he worked with. No, Joe said, he's a co-founder and the CEO of Kickstarter.
