One more reason that I hate this slow fucking internet service.

In 1990, just over a year before he died, my wife and I saw Miles Davis perform here at the university I had attended. One of the music professors was a friend of his and talked Miles into one performance here. I recently heard a rumor that someone had recorded the performance. I managed to find references to it on the internet, and have now finally found a file in dropbox. Huzzah! But the chances of my being able to download the file is dubious at best. Stupid AT&T.

If you really want it, I could download it and burn it to CD-R (DVD-R?) for you.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer. I managed to get it to download. Took a ridiculous amount of time.

The sound is lousy. I don't know if I can do anything to improve it. Bummer.

Most boots are.

I have a couple of late-period Miles soundboard boots which break the rule.
