The Economist has been publishing some articles about the problems inherent in profits being too high in America, a favorite rant of mine. Here are a couple of the articles.
The Economist is almost right-wing, certainly right of center. If they can see the problem, you know it must be ridiculously obvious. Funny how the US media have managed to miss it altogether.

You mean the US media that are owned by giant corporations? Yeah, I wonder why haven't they said anything.

Heh, a bit "screedy" but an interesting compilation of unrelated facts to bring out an overarching pattern.
