| A friend of ours visited this weekend, she's almost as radical politically as me. We were talking about Congress's vow to not even consider, to not bring up in committee any nomination to SCOTUS that Obama may make.
She spontaneously suggested the same solution I've been advocating, start impeachment proceedings against anybody who signs on to this. Their duty is clearly laid out in the Constitution, and Congressmen have to swear to uphold the Constitution. Therefore, failure to do so is clear and unequivocal grounds for impeachment on the grounds of treason.
Get a couple of those fuckers facing a firing squad, we'll see how ideological they want to be. |

| You really expect a Republican House to impeach anyone for giving Obama a hard time?

But saying they won't even consider someone nominated by the President of the United States to the Supreme Court?1 Excuse me while I pick up my jaw from the floor.
This is extreme, irresponsible, and an insult to the U.S. Constitution that all of us senators took an oath to uphold.
These senators need a lesson in civics. MoveOn's grassroots army can help. We know targeted, intense public pressure can force these Republicans to reconsider—three Senate Republicans have already broken rank with Mitch McConnell.2 Now, we have to double and triple these efforts—for the sake of the Supreme Court and for the sake of our Constitution. A couple quick executions wouldn't hurt either. |

Good idea. Do the Senate rules allow that? If not, the rule should be added.

| I feel like no one takes it seriously anymore. Bush II should have been executed if you ask me, or at the very least impeached. But no one gives a damn anymore. Everyone's gotten so desensitized to it. And they keep us poor, poor and arguing among ourselves rather than focusing on the threat they are up there in DC. |

You have nailed one of the Republicans' favorite and most effective campaign methods. As long as they can get people blaming anyone except those responsible for the problems, they will remain entrenched, especially at the state and local levels. |

| Trump gives aid and comfort to the enemy. Isn't that a textbook firing squad offense? - Quote :
- "Would you like me to step across?" Trump asked Kim as they shook hands. "I am OK with it."
While inside North Korean territory, Trump and Kim shook hands and patted each other's backs before returning across the border to the South after about a minute.
"I never expected to meet you at this place," Kim, who appeared overjoyed in the moment, told Trump through an interpreter. Of COURSE he was overjoyed. His brutal dictatorship has now been validated on the world stage. |

| Iran is now hell-bent on building a nuclear bomb so they can get love letters, back pats and warm handshakes as well. |
